SUMMARY:NEW! Introductory Group Barn Experience
DESCRIPTION:We invite your group (up to 10 participants) to join us for a two-hour Introductory Group Barn Experience at a Connected Horse barn!  \nOur Introductory Group Barn Experiences are designed to introduce groups from the community\, senior living\, and other organizations focused on those affected by neuro-cognitive changes to the therapeutic benefits of human-horse interaction. Participants are introduced to our research-derived equine activities including mindfulness practices\, interations with horses\, hands-on activities\, and group support. Trained facilitators guide on-the-ground interactions between horses and participants\, who report a greater sense of awareness\, confidence\, and social connection\, all while having a great time!  \nCommunity groups\, senior living\, or other organizations serving those who are affected by neuro-cognitive changes along with their care partners are welcome. Limit of 10 participants per session. All participants must be from the same organization. Transportation is not included.
