Introductory Barn Experience (private event)

Our Introductory Barn Experience is part of the Connected Horse Sensory Engagement Program, designed to introduce groups from the community, senior living, and other organizations focused on those affected by memory loss to the therapeutic benefits of human-horse interaction.
Participants are introduced to our research-derived equine activities, including mindfulness practices, hands-on activities (grooming, bathing, leading), sensory exercises, and group support. Trained facilitators guide on-the-ground interactions between horses and participants. It’s not only therapeutic—it’s also fun! Many participants report feeling a greater sense of awareness, confidence, and social connection after the session.
