Our Programs

Connected Horse programs improve the lives of people affected by dementia and their care partners by bringing people’s attention to the present moment and by helping people feel calmer, more engaged, and connected through guided programs with horses.

In-Person Workshops

Trained facilitators guide on-the-ground interactions between horses and participants, who report a greater sense of awareness, confidence, and social connection. These invaluable workshops that take place at barns and equine facilities are free-of-charge to all people affected by memory changes and dementia along with care partners, who are often adult children, spouses, and friends.

Barn At-Home

Calm, engaging, and joyful experiences that enhance social connection are available through our Barn At-Home program. The Barn At-Home is for people at home or in adult day care centers to activate social engagement and fun. The package includes playful tools that help light up the senses, access to an innovative virtual game environment from our partners at Mentia, and coaching from our Barn At-Home team.
