Judy Vared is passionate about supporting families and friends through their dementia journey. Prior to her work coordinating community outreach with Connected Horse, she spent fifteen years working in Assisted Living, including a stand-alone memory community. She not only admires the beauty and intelligence of horses but, even though she had no experience with horses prior to joining the Connected Horse herd, she understands and prizes the depth of the human-horse connection. Connected Horse, she says, allows her to do what she loves most, conducting helpful public education with a community she cares deeply about and holding the hands of families as they go through the transformative program.
