Lorissa Wayne has been working with  Connected Horse since 2024  She has a  degree in Recreation Management from San Diego State University and has focused on team building with both students and adults throughout California.  She is passionate about horses and equine therapy. In addition to her work at Connected Horse, she volunteers for two horse rescues in Pleasanton and Livermore, California. She plans to become more “hands on” with equine therapy and hopes one day she will be able to bring horses to communities and hospitals so that those who don’t have access to or can’t make it to the barn, can still connect with a horse. Ultimately she would love to have a sanctuary for horses and other farm animals that people visit for therapy, retreats, and school fieldtrips.
