We invite your group (up to 10 participants) to join us for a two-hour introductory mini-workshop at the barn!
Our Introductory Mini-Workshops are designed to introduce community groups, senior living communities, and other organizations focused on those affected by dementia to the therapeutic benefits of human-horse interaction. Participants are introduced to our research-derived equine activities including mindfulness practices, grooming, bathing, leading, and group support. Trained facilitators guide on-the-ground interactions between horses and participants, who report a greater sense of awareness, confidence, and social connection. Some restrictions apply.
Community groups, senior living communities, or other organizations serving those who are affected by dementia along with their care partners are welcome. Limit of 10 participants per session. All participants must be from the same group.
